InterMet is developing its next generation UAV sensor as an enhanced version of the iMet-XQ2. The X4 will include four sensors (two each for air temperature and humidity) as well as pressure. The X4 will include a 915 MHz transmitter for real-time data and a UBlox M8 GPS receiver for locational data.
The new sensor will be highlighted at the AMS and AGU meetings this fall/winter.
